Our Programs & Initiatives

At Rose Breast Health (RBH), we respond to the urgent reality that too many women are still being left behind. Breast cancer does not discriminate, but access to care does. Our survivor-led, culturally safe, and trauma-informed programs are designed to close the gap, ensuring that women in underserved communities have the knowledge, access, and support they need.

We partner with families, healthcare systems, and communities to catch her before it is too late.

Empowering communities with knowledge

Awareness & Education

Knowledge changes outcomes. We work hand-in-hand with women, families, and communities to break the silence around breast health and encourage early action.

Our Initiatives:

  • Community workshops and seminars on breast health and self-examination

  • Campaigns that combat misinformation and reduce stigma

  • Tailored programs for high-risk and underserved groups to increase health literacy

Impact for Communities: Women feel confident, informed, and able to take charge of their health.
Impact for Systems: Early detection reduces late-stage diagnoses and saves lives, easing the burden on health systems.

Access & Support

Breaking Barriers. Building Pathways.

Access to screening, diagnosis, and treatment should never depend on income, location, or visa status. RBH connects women with the care they need—when they need it.

Our Initiatives:

  • Free or low-cost breast screening programs for women at risk

  • Navigation support to guide women through complex health systems

  • Partnerships with hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers for timely care

  • Practical and emotional support during treatment and recovery

Impact for Communities: Women receive care with dignity and without delay.
Impact for Systems: Improved outcomes, reduced emergency presentations, and more equitable health delivery.

Fundraising to Support Our Mission

Sustaining Programs. Expanding Reach.

Cancer is devastating even with the best care.

At RBH, fundraising makes the difference. It allows us to:

  • Educate communities about breast health and early detection

  • Provide free or low-cost screenings and timely diagnosis

  • Guide women through treatment with practical and emotional support

Advocating in Partnership

Uniting Voices. Driving Change.

We know that no single organization can dismantle the barriers that women face. That’s why RBH works collaboratively with healthcare providers, policymakers, and community leaders to drive systemic change.

Our Advocacy Efforts:

  • Partnering with health services to expand access to screening and treatment

  • Collaborating with cultural and community leaders to deliver trusted education

  • Advocating for policies that address inequities in cancer outcomes

Impact for Communities: Stronger networks and culturally safe health pathways.
Impact for Systems: Shared responsibility and collective impact that delivers long-term change.

Together, We Save Lives

At RBH, we work across both grassroots and systems levels to ensure that no woman is left to face breast cancer alone.

Our Impact

At RBH, impact is measured not just in numbers but in lives changed, families supported, and communities empowered. Our programs reach women who are too often invisible in healthcare systems and give them a fighting chance.

Through our programs and initiatives, we have:

  • Delivered community workshops that improved breast health knowledge and early detection confidence among women in underserved communities

  • Provided free and low-cost screenings to women who would not otherwise have access to care

  • Supported families through treatment with practical assistance, care navigation, and emotional support

  • Raised awareness and funds through community outreaches and our flagship Harmony in Pink Gala, expanding our reach across Africa and Australia

  • Advocated for equity by working with healthcare providers, leaders, and policymakers to reduce preventable deaths and improve survival rates

The Result: Women are catching breast cancer earlier, navigating treatment with support, and surviving where they once would have been left behind.

Together, we are closing the gap and saving lives.
