Our Founders
Founder & CEO
Benita Omewu
As the visionary founder and CEO of Rose Breast Health since 2021, Benita brings over six years of expertise in medical imaging and mammography with NSW Health and BreastScreen NSW. Driven by her passion for women's health and equity, she is on a mission to transform breast cancer outcomes for underserved women. Growing up in Nigeria, Benita witnessed the devastating toll of late diagnoses and inadequate care—families shattered, children left motherless, and lives cut short. In Australia, her work revealed the life-saving potential of early detection and accessible healthcare. "I’ve seen both sides—the heartbreak of families torn apart and the hope that comes with early detection. My mission is to bridge this gap, ensuring every woman, no matter where she lives, has the chance to survive and thrive." — Benita Omewu Through RBH, Benita leads efforts to provide life-saving breast health services to women and families in Australia and Africa, giving them hope, access, and a future.
